The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in Secondary Education prepares K-12 teachers in a wide variety of instruction areas. The Secondary Education M.A.T. program is a one-year, full-time program where students serve internships in area schools while completing courses for the graduate degree.
A comparable degree, a master of education in Career and Technical Education, is available for students with a bachelor's in business, family and consumer sciences, technology education, or a related field.
